And yet Venom wasn't a good enough reason to see it. I wouldn't have bothered if I knew Venom was going to be lame like that. My question is, was it Venom making him be the saturday-night-fever tardo or was that his real personality with a confidence boost? I guess it doesn't matter, either way Spidey now sucks. He screws up and his best friend dies for him? That sucks. Harry didn't even get a chance to be evil. They should have ignored that and spent more time on making Venom cool.

I agree. The quality of the movie was proportional to the amount of Venom contained therein, which was far too little.
